Our principals and staff are seasoned business professionals with over 80 years of combined experience serving both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. Our team is comprised of outsourcing experts, HR professionals and small business consultants, as well as client support professionals from the financial, insurance, staffing and recruitment, hi-tech and corporate services industries.
Team Members
Dave Oyer
Dave is a Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Your HR Group. Dave is a licensed CPA as well as a licensed health insurance & PC& insurance agent. He has over 20 years of payroll industry experience as a owner and consultant and supports the financial and tax functions of the business. Dave’s earlier background was in finance for a Fortune 500 company and later years as a small business owner for payroll tax company and oversees the company’s financial operations.
Laurie Howell
Laurie is a Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Austin HR and Your HR Group. Laurie began her HR career in 1988 as personnel coordinator, then moved into the staffing and recruitment arena and eventually managing multiple locations in Texas, OK and TN. She then founded a recruitment & HR outsourcing company in 1999 which was later merged with a payroll company owned by Dave and this became the platform for Your HR Group. Laurie holds her SPHR designation in HR as well as her P&C insurance license and provides HR consulting services to YHG clients as well oversees marketing & business development.
Doug Oyer
Doug is a Co-Owner of Your HR Group, Inc. Doug’s background brings a strong Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) background to the company as well as expertise in HRIS platforms. Having spent 20+ years in the IT world as a programmer, consultant and an owner of IT/HRIS consulting firm, he has supported Fortune 500 companies as well as small business start-ups and oversees the operations and technical infrastructure of YHG.
David Hughen
David Hughen is a Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Austin HR. He brings over 20 years experience driving creative human resource strategies and solutions. His emphasis is on optimizing employee commitment and productivity---linked to the organization’s strategic business goals. He holds Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. In addition, Hughen is chairman of Communities in Schools’ Leadership Circle (Advisory Council) and is a board member of Workforce Solutions.
Pam Dilloway
Pam serves as the company’s Operation’s Manager and brings over 18 years of payroll & HR knowledge to the position. Pam offers advanced knowledge of payroll and employer tax filing, client implementations and human resources. Additionally, her strengths include a strong understanding of various payroll platforms as both an in-house payroll manager as well as a contract consultant supporting a large client base with a multitude of payroll & HR related needs.
Scott Mathews
Scott is a Senior Operations and Client Support Specialist with Your HR Group. He graduated from St. Edwards University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. While in school he worked in public accounting and then spent several years as a consultant and research assistant in the sales and use tax field. His experience also includes operations management in the restaurant industry as well as grant support for a philanthropic advisory firm in Chicago.
Miriam Lindoro
Miriam Lindoro has over ten years in an HR generalist capacity supporting a nationally based service company and has her Professional in Human Resources designation (PHR). Over the past two years, Miriam has focused heavily on benefits administration and all the compliance issues and needs surrounding this changing and complex area. Miriam has more recently earned her Group Benefits Administration designation (GBA), and is currently working towards her CEBS designation (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist). She is the company’s go-to-person for benefit related issues and questions. Furthermore, Miriam also provides employee relations support to our HR client base. Because she is fully bilingual in Spanish, having her expertise in human resources coupled with her strong knowledge of benefits is a huge asset to our HR team.
Cheryl Simmons
Cheryl Simmons is an Implementation and Training Manager for Your HR Group. Her background as an HR generalist provides strengths in several areas including human capital management, technical staffing and training. She maintains a broad knowledge of state and federal labor laws and is seasoned in compliance reporting for both employee documentation and benefits’ management. She is an integral part of our HR support team and our processes.
Yvonne Martinez
Yvonne is an experienced HR support administrator and HR generalist with over seven years of experience in this capacity. Her background brings much knowledge from the hi-tech industry and in servicing the needs of this community from an HR perspective. Yvonne is also a former Marine and her ability to help clients with processes, compliance and formality is her strength. She provides guidance and support in research as well as administrative and transactional HR & payroll support.
Jean LeSage
Jean is a dedicated payroll processor for Your HR Group. Her background is in accounting and bookkeeping and she plays an integral role on our processing team.
